‘Choose your day, don’t let your day choose you’ means to me….

The daily rituals I use to support and empower my life are…
I don’t really have any set rituals because what I need changes and i’ve learnt that tuning in daily and seeing what I need works best for me but I definitely fill my days with activities that inspire and empower me, including time with friends (my soul sisters), reading beautiful books, chatting with my hubby, phone calls with my mumma and sister. These are the things that ground me and remind me of what is truly important.
When I find myself feeling a bit negative, to transition into a more positive mindset I…
Always make gratitude my go-to attitude. This has definitely been a tool that has taken time and practice but it is now a part of who I am and how I see things. When I am in a negative situation or find my thoughts going in that direction, I am now able to stop myself and change them (even if not immediately, definitely a lot faster) and am able to look at what there is to be grateful for in that particular situation because there is ALWAYS, always something to be grateful for.
The thing I absolutely love about myself is….
That I am an empath, I really FEEL so much around other people and for people. This was something that I once didn’t understand and actually hated about myself because it felt like I cared too much and it hurt. Now that I have a deeper connection and loving relationship with myself, I cherish this part of me and let it shine. Reminding me that our relationship with ourselves and loving all the different parts that make us, us both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually is actually our biggest challenge and yet greatest achievement.
My absolute favourite go-to meal to nourish the body and soul is…
Well it’s more Dessert (which is my fave meal) but I LOVE a raw treat – raw caramel cheesecake, mint choc bliss balls, coco whip etc. They definitely nourish my body and soul, especially when shared with my hubby or a soul sister.

The greatest lesson I have learnt is…
Absolutely everything that happens in our life is for a reason, even if we cannot see it at the time, even when it is so painful and we can’t possibly imagine what it could be. There IS a reason or a lesson to be learnt, because life gives us exactly what we need, to learn the lessons we need to learn, when we need to learn them.

Reach out beautiful. Find someone that you connect with and get help to make a plan to change what isn’t working for you, or support to deal with what you are going through. You NEVER have to do it alone and it WILL always get better.
